Payday

Sweeeeeeeet! Even though there's not a lot extra; I'm thankful to have a job. Lots of people don't now a days.

I'm going to go buy Pete some summer clothes (not a lot); Grandma retail therapy.

But, seriously, I'm thankful to have $$ to cover my bills, provide for my family, and have a little fun on the side. I often think that most of the billions of people who have ever lived on this planet do not and did not get to experience the 'little luxuries' that I do.

Costco at lunchtime. Sweet!

I'm glad you have this too. You didn't for a really long time. Thank you for being so selfless in so many ways! I know you were selfless with your money while we were growing up. It means a lot to me that buying clothes for Pete is one of your forms of retail therapy. See? Still selfless to the end!

Payday for me is not a given anymore. You know that, and I don't need to go into that here.

Money is and always has been a big challenge for me. I have a hard time relating to a material world, and lately it has not been kind to me materially either.

HOWEVER... I came into this world understanding love and sacrifice and knowing people like you who give so much thanks helps me to do so as well!

I do get the luxuries so many have not had. I do get all the time what I need! And I give my thanks...

and thank you for sharing as you do with me!
