Every once in a while, don't you hear a word that you really just want to work into your vocabulary? I read once that we know many more words than we use. I wish I didn't so easily get into a lexicon rut.
Dictionary.com sent me a great word the other day. Kvetch\Kvech: To complain habitually. Used as a noun it means a habitual complainer or a complaint. What a handy word that can be used in three ways.
I have a kvetch about today's lunch menu.
I just have to kvetch about that new cook and her menu.
She's such a kvetch. Can't she just shut up about the new lunch menu?
Why, oh why, has this word eluded me for so many years? I mean, it's a perfect word. So I'm kvetching about just now learning about kvetch.

Sounds like you are Kvetching on to using this word! What a funny word to run across! I suppose it came into your path because the "B" word isn't really a proper word for you! That's the one that's most fun to throw around when I'm in a Kvetching mood! That or "Ham it to Dell!"
I love learning new words. One I learned the other day was especially gratifying. It's "borborygmus", something we all experience at times, but probably had no idea there was a name for it.
