Time For A Change

Seeing my last blog was getting me down. The problem with posting something so negative is that I usually don't stay feeling that way for long.

Since then, I have lived a roller coaster life. What else is new. I had a birthday and dear friends treated me better than I deserve. My loving children always are the best and remember their dear old mum. Sarah made me a birthday cake and a great Italian dinner. My husband took me to see the most amazing film at the planetarium about the Hubble Space Craft and pictures it has sent back to earth. The film was in IMAX 3D and it was unbelievably cool. Seeing the miracles of nature is a sure way to fill one's heart with joy.

So, while this isn't well-written or well-thought out, at least it's a little less bleak than the last post. Yeah, like that would have been hard to do.

I'm glad you had a nice birthday and that you liked the cake and pasta I made! I sure love you! What would we all do without you?

I'm the lucky one! I've missed seeing you guys so much this week. Pete will hardly know who I am!

As I'm coming backwards to try and catch up with all your thoughts tonight, I haven't read the negative one yet (I don't think) but totally understand the ups and downs!

I guess my favorite Charlie Brown expression is "It's time to kick the bats." It's a baseball superstition when things aren't going too well to "kick the bats." Of course, Charlie Brown misses and gets wrapped up in the hoses!
