Don't get me wrong. I love my family. I would rather be with them than any other people on earth. But every once in a while on a rare, rare occasion, I find myself home alone.
There is a peace to being alone in your own home that is not matched anywhere else. I read once that if a husband wanted to give his young wife a break, the best thing was not to send her out shopping with her friends; but rather take the kids somewhere and let her be alone in her own house. I found that to be true.
So, Clayton, Sean, Emily, Niel, Alex, and Nate are all gone. And I'm going to make the most of it!
What shall I do???? :)

you should call your daughter in ohio!!!!
you should go to lunch with your friend. or at least think about the good times at lunch with your friend, while curled up in your jammies in your favorite place at home.
So do you like to cuddle up and read, ms. librarian, or do you like to put on some tunes (my fav) or do you like to let the tv run... or a mixture of all...
or do you like to sit in a quiet corner for a while and enjoy the stillness?
I like sneaking in the fridge...
