Today I am thankful for prayer. I'm thankful that there is something that we can do when we can do nothing else. I'm thankful to know that prayers are heard. I'm thankful to know that prayers are answered.
I am thankful to know that we are not alone in this harsh, messy, beautiful world.
Praying today for Grant, Nephi, Clayton, The Angilau family, and Niel.
My heart hurts for all of you.

Sometimes life is just too hard. At times, it can seem unbearable.
It can be easy to lose hope. I am grateful for this scripture: Proverbs 13:12 "Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life."
I'm grateful to know that when we retain or regain our hope that we can feel the love of God (which is the tree of life).
And being able to feel the love of God makes everything more bearable, doesn't it?
You are all in my heart.
This sounds like a life moving event... I, too, add my prayers... two of these folks, Niel and Johanna... have meant a lot to me for a very long time...
