Career...or a Job

You know, some times I really wish I didn't have to work for a living. So here's to the fantasy...if I didn't have to work, tomorrow I would...

1. Walk with Karrie
2. Read that book that I have to take back to the library half finished because I never seemed to have the time to read it.
3. Sew an outfit for Maddie or Kinlie just because I can.
4. Make a dinner that takes 3 hours.
5. Clean up the back yard.
6. Sleep until 7:00 a.m.
7. Not have to get my butt chewed off.

Oh, well.

Lots of people at my work are no longer working--some not by choice, as in, reductions in force--by many deciding to retire. That sounds so good to me.

Yeah, not an option for me, I'm afraid.

I really don't think our parents lived in this kind of work environment. Times are tough.

Let's figure out a way to help you get some down time. I'm sorry things have been so rough lately.

Ah, the irony of our current world. Many of my clients should be retired now, but can't. Many have lost businesses, have tried to work a small business to give their hearts and talents to only to not be able to afford the health insurance, or be able to withstand all the government nonesense, and trying to get by in a tech world that is running away from them.

I am one of those... A good man and friend caught up in a Corporate world that doesn't care... has no soul. And the people in those entities hide behind the non-entity and blame policy for the way Humans are being treated. Just my view from my experience...

But enough whining! I would love to wave a wand and let you live the "Life of Joy" you have in your heart! I personally would love the time to write, and publish the Light and Love in my heart, but it is crap, and noise, and mediocrity the Consumer Public wants. It seems that the world Wants to live in misery.

But in our hearts we don't need to! You are a wonderful friend, and I am blessed and honored to know that you and many others are around me, and help make this journey through Hell a most enlightening ride!

I try to get hired by the establishment, get the perks of "security" and 401K stuff (you know, when the economy fell, somehow everyone "lost over half" of what they had put in... where did the lost half go????)

I'm rambling Johanna! In truth, the Security I have is in the moment... the love around me... and the promise of the Christ that if the lilies of the field that neither spin or toil are so cared for, how much greater are we....
